Kellyn Kramolisch SRNA
Kellyn Kramolisch is from Omaha, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center accelerated BSN program in 2009. She has experience in burn, medical, and surgical intensive care nursing at the Nebraska Medical Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She currently attends Bryan College of Health Sciences School of Nurse Anesthesia in Lincoln, Nebraska and will graduate in May, 2015. She has been elected by her peers to serve as the 2013-14 student representative for the Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She is an avid volunteer for the organization and will represent the Association of Veterans Affairs Nurse Anesthetists and the Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetists at the 2014 AANA Midyear Assembly in Washington, D.C..
Kellyn believes that CRNA leadership is essential to the future of the nurse anesthesia profession. She believes that It is important to educate the community and legislative officials about the value and safety of nurse anesthesia services. “I am eager to join the AVANA representatives on Capitol Hill and educate our elected officials on how CRNA services are vital to cost-effective medical care initiatives.” Kellyn hopes to someday become part of the Veterans Affairs team in providing first-rate care to the Veteran population. She plans to continue to be active in the Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetist after graduation. “I believe a strong voice at the national level starts at home” (Kellyn Kramolisch, 2014)
